Kate Beckinsale survived the exasperating and badly scripted movie "Whiteout,” and maybe this adorable puppy was her consolation prize. We are a little concerned because just a year ago we saw Kate with an equally beautiful blond cocker spaniel puppy. That one grew up and hasn’t been seen again. Hopefully he’s living happily ever after….If this puppy's going to have any chance of living a long and healthy life, Kate's going to have to avoid the one thing that kills most small dogs in Hollywood:
