Jon Gosselin has been dropped from Jon & Kate Plus 8. TLC made the announcement earlier this morning. From People:

In a stunning announcement, TLC said Tuesday morning that as of Nov. 2 Jon Gosselin would no longer appear on the popular reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 — and the program would undergo a name change, to simply Kate Plus 8.

“Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on,” a source close to Jon Gosselin tells PEOPLE.

I know this is sad news for you John fans, but don't worry, you can still catch him starring in the Jon & Kate spin-off, Jon & Douchy Ed Hardy Shirts Plus 87, every night in front of his closet mirror.

And let us never speak of these monsters again.

UPDATE: Roman Polanski just said John's daughter Cara is "kinda cute." She's 8. What a prick.

Jon, Kate is looking pretty good and she is showing some class. Your class is in your ass. Maybe Hailey's Dad can give you a tummy tuck and mouth tuck. I always thought you were a bit inmature on the show and gave Kate reason to need to discipline you like one of the kids. I hope your other women and yourself are using protections because how in the world could you ever be able to support more children. I don't think Kate will be helping you in that department. The nanny in your own home or the apartment above the garage...so who was in the house all night watching over your children.

If I were Jon I would have tried to find a way to take the high road... who was advising this clown? They should be sued for malpractice.

Kate was enough of a public biatch he could have worked that angle.

BTW.. Jon... there won't be a whole lot of assets to split up when the show gets canceled in a year. Viewership is down like 80% now.
