Jaleel White leaving Villa nightclub in Hollywood (2/2008)

Believe it or not, this story is not set in 1994. From the National Enquirer:
Jaleel White, aka Steve Urkel from "Family Matters," strutted into Hollywood's Guys & Dolls on Aug. 20 with an entourage of pals and bodyguards who pushed patrons out of the way and yelled: "Watch out! Coming through!" One annoyed clubgoer shouted: "Go home, Urkel!" (Print Edition - 9/14)
Of course Jaleel needs bodyguards. You would too if you had hot women constantly throwing themselves at -- LOL -- I was almost able to type that without laughing. This dude hasn't worked on a hit movie or TV show in so long, the only entourage he should have is bill collectors.

I saw Jaleel out in West Hollywood almost two years ago. He was very nice and standing outside a club talking to a girl in a hummer. And he was alone.

his not steve urkel no more but i still watch dat show the show is sooooo funny

  • Reality

I think it's hilarious that the author is saying Jaleel should have an entourage of bill ollectors when it's well documented that dude made MILLIONS over his time on Family Matters and has not even gotten close to squandering it. I'm pretty sure the author of this lame piece is more worried about entourages of bill collectors than Jaleel White ever will be.

And LOL @ it being "sad" that someone would want to date Jaleel. He's not a bad looking dude, he's in shape, he's a UCLA grad and he's a multi millionaire who still cashes checks from reruns.

    no more geekazoid

  • HRH Adam

Nothing personal against the bloke, but I would've bloody beat anyone who pushed me in a club line, especially for Urkel. Wish I'd have been there to break their feet n faces

  • Goliano

The point is, he's not broke and is handling his business. Every job in entertainment isn't in front of the cameras.

  • Knowledge

His folks probably did a good job of managing his money and contracts. That's probably what he's living off of, money he was paid for doing the show and money from them showing the reruns all over the place (syndication). I wouldn't be too critical if I were you. He's probably set for a good while, if not life. He doesn't look like he's suffering to me. I've seen worse unemployed, ex-child actors, waaay worse.

And these guys hardly look like bodyguards. Someone said bodyguards and it went from there. He and some guys probably got together and decided to go to the club. They do it all over the country, not just hollyweird.

The only thing this loser should be saying is, Do you want Fries with that?

  • jerk

He was in Dreamgirls for a minute. That movie had some unwarranted hype.

Mediocre Jennifer Hudson's performance in an average movie in which she TOTALLY got a P.C. charity Oscar?

Jaleel White is actually a pretty chill guy.

  • Phil

Urkel hasn't had a good job in years, so I don't know how he's paying for all of these bodyguards to keep his "fans" away.

  • WTF!

Urkel - smurkel. I dont know who this dipshit is...but his mom has dressed him up like a clown.

  • JOrdan

Wow. Wesley Snipes looks like shit...

  • Carlos

It's official: Guys & Dolls and Villa are the lamest clubs in the US of A.

The sad part is that he PROBABLY DOES have women throwing themselves at him, as some people will do anything for a "brush with fame." This happens even if you are a typecast, washed-up sitcom star who never was funny in the first place. But an entourage, and bodyguards? I don't think he would need them for the type of women who would be interested in him.

(((Epic Fail))) from a Fetal Alcohol Syndrome-looking washed-up child actor.

More like URKEL to his friends: "Hey, guys, the tabloids are outside waiting for Jon Gosselin to come out. Do me a solid and pretend to me by bodyguards, 'kay?"
