MTV totally cockblocked Audrina Patridge. She wanted to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars but the network wouldn't give her permission. From the Chicago Sun Times:

Though the network cited ''scheduling conflicts,'' that didn't jibe, as "DWTS" works on Mondays and Tuesdays -- the exact days ''The Hills'' is down. Turns out MTV honchos' main concerns were about Patridge overtaxing herself and risking an accident, given the big increase in injuries on the dance competition show last season.

Audrina asked to be on Dancing with the Stars? If I wanted to see someone dancing around like an idiot for my amusement, I'd go to a strip club or wave a dollar in front of Joe Jackson's face. And who are these execs kidding? They're afraid she'll "overtax herself"? Audrina couldn't exert herself less on that show if she were catatonic. Oh, wait . . .
