You have the power to forgive him when he has done wrong. Please Lord, guide him through life so that when he is vulnerable and at Satan's door you can guide him in the correct direction. Guide him to get a sober driver. Help him to realize that he will not be looked down upon by others, when he asks for that sober driver. For all you know he may be in anguish over this entire episode. He may be losing sleep and be depressed to the point of wanting to take the pipe. He may be in the throes of psychotherapy, attempting to emotionally make amends to the world for his thoughtlessness.
