Jennifer Aniston thought she was dating Hangover star Bradley Cooper -- until he basically dumped her in front of reporters. Ouch. For those of you keeping track at home, Jennifer's now been dumped in person, on the phone, over email, on TV, via singing telegram, and through one of those planes that writes messages in the sky. "It's not you Jen, it's me." An insider told the National Enquirer:

“Jennifer was devastated when Bradley told reporters in Paris that she was ‘just a friend’ and denied they had any romantic involvement. It makes her look desperate — which is the one thing she dreads coming across more than anything else.”

At first, Aniston allegedly assumed Cooper’s public stance was merely an attempt to keep their relationship private, but the source explained that the actress soon learned otherwise.

“When (Aniston) confronted (Cooper) about it, he took the opportunity to let her down gently and say he only wanted to be friends,” the source revealed. “It was a huge embarrassment for Jennifer — now she feels used and upset — her confidence has taken yet another knock and she’s back at square one in terms of dating.”

Hasn't Jennifer realized by now that dating guys with blondish hair named "Brad" doesn't work for her? She needs to change things up a bit and start going after douchebag musicians (oh wait, nevermind), tall ugly comedians (oh wait, nevermind), short actors (oh wait, nevermind), anyone living outside of Hollywood. Seriously, if Jen's ever going to find the man of her dreams, she's going to have to start looking for a guy that's single, older, and not in the entertainment industry . . . like Kathy Griffin.

The press likes to perpetrate this myth that Jen is dumped by every guy she goes out with.

When in reality,

Like every woman,

You go with a guy a couple of times or months

Sometimes it works,

Sometimes it doesn't.

You don't go out again.

That doesn't mean you got dumped.

Just means it didn't work out.

Only teenagers use the expression "got dumped". Adults say that they chose not to see each other again.

Dear Random Bob,

"Anonymous" was candidly eloquent with her/his remarks. Celebrity lives are fair game now with the media making up and printing headlines as if they are fact. What's incredible is that people actually believe these stories. And, now celebrities children are now part of this mire and it is accepted without question. Who wants to be hunted every waking moment-especially while out with your children?

I guess no one has learned anything from the life of Michael Jackson. Just because you see a picture does not mean you have been privy to the truth.

Just one pic of Aniston and Cooper exiting a restaurant together and getting into a vehicle makes for an assumption they were in a relationship-or that she was looking for a relationship with him.

He said they were just friends yet, no one can make the leap in judgement that maybe, just maybe, she has never considered him anything but a friend.

Just because it's Aniston the assumption is she's desperately looking for a man. We've all witnessed these celebs. who seem to desperately jump from marraige to marraige because they can't be alone. If Aniston was desperate to get married and/or have babies, you can bet some man out there would have already lied his heart out to give her what she wanted and then have the opportunity to get his hands on her millions.

Give the woman some credit for not being stupid and getting herself into an embarrasing position. Considering her wealth, she's managed to keep herself together and not fall prey to gold-digging men a la Liz Taylor, Liza Minelli, Barbara Woolworth and a host of other wealthy women who lacked self-esteem and lost themselves in men who meant them no good.

Also, I always love people who give inside knowledge but never have the confidence to say their name. If the above source is really in Aniston's inner circle of friends you can bet she would know who revealed such supposedely true information. Please people, use the mind God gave you.
