women in the middle east are banned from showing any skin. it's part of their culture. an awful, unfair part, but it'sbeen like that for centuries over there. get educated dumbasses. paris hilton is stupid for thinking that she can insult people in the middle east like that, especially since we are at war in that general area and pissing them off does not help us in any way.

It may "protect and value" women, but it clearly doesn't respect them. Respect means treating them as grownups who can make their own choices, good or bad.
Banning bikinis to protect them from men is punishing the victim, pure and simple. It's no different than saying a rape victim deserved it because she was wearing a revealing outfit.
Perhaps the men should just learn some self-control around women and take some responsibility for their lust.

Holy frick. The article above states that it was TV Producers who instructed her not to wear a bikini. Officials in Dubai said nothing. Who knows why they did that, but it has nothing to do with Dubai allowing or prohibiting bikinis. Read the article a bit closer.
the mere fact is that she didnt listen to her tv producers. and in reality if it had been anyone else who didnt listen to the tv producers, wud have been out of a show!!!!!!!! but no, they cudnt cut her off....because she is a big finacial part of their whole production!!!!!!!!! so in this case the tv producers need to grow some balls and put their foot down on certain things!!!!!!!
