Britney Spears wants her life back

Though all of her other secret plans failed miserably (see here, here, and here), Britney Spears isn't giving up in her attempt to take back control of her life from her dad. Her latest idea is perhaps her most devious and brilliant yet. Just kidding. It's dumb. From the National Enquirer:

Britney Spears is planning the ultimate revenge on her father - she's going to stop the family money train by pulling the plug on her career! The 17-year-old is so desperate to get out form under her father's control that she's ready to quit performing, sources say.

"I want out of show business," the distraught star told a close friend.

A close source added: "Britney wants her life back and she figures that if she doesn't have the big bucks, her Daddy will go away. Britney said is she quits singing and isn't making millions, her dad won't be interested in maintaining the conservatorship. And she won't need him to manage her business affairs because there won't be any business affairs to manage!" (Print Edition - 5/11)

Great idea Britney. Quit doing the one thing that made you rich and famous. You're sure to land firmly on your feet and live the rest of your life in normalcy -- just ask Joaquin Phoenix. At this point, Britney's father is so addicted to her fame and money that if she ever wants to get him out of her life, she doesn't need to stop performing. She needs to stop breathing.
