Madonna in Namitete, Malawi (3/30)
The Malawi government announced their support today of Madonna's bid to adopt four-year-old Mercy James from their country. Malawian Information Minister Patricia Kaliati told Reuters:
"Madonna has been good to us, she is supporting over 25,000 orphans in this country and she has proved that she can take care of [her first adopted son] David. Very few rich and famous people can take time to fly all the way to Malawi to support our children we support her adoption process." (Source)Kaliati added. "Hey news guy, what kind of car do think I should buy with my new suitcase full of American dollars? The Porsche Cayenne is gorgeous but the Range Rover does have a better navigation system."
