The controversial photo

Chris Brown's attorney is attempting to get the entire case against him thrown out because of the photo of a bruised and battered Rihanna that TMZ leaked to the public. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg pushed the preliminary hearing back to May 28, which will allow the investigation into who leaked the photo to be completed. From E!:

Should the gruesome photos' appearance prove to be the result of a police transgression, Geragos told E! News that he will move to have Brown's entire case dismissed.

"The leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regards to outrageous governmental misconduct," Geragos said.

Chris' attorney does have a point here. That picture of Rihanna does kinda make him look like a bully. The problem is there's no context to it. People see that photo and automatically assume that Chris is some kind of monster. What they don't realize is that right before Chris repeatedly punched Rihanna in the face, she grabbed his cell phone out of his hand. Wow, suddenly puts that picture and the whole attack into perspective, doesn't it? There's two sides to every story people.

NOTE: I find it interesting -- and troubling -- that TMZ didn't leak any pictures of Chris planting flowers or helping out at the soup kitchen. TMZ's agenda is pretty clear. They hate black people.
