Christina and anonymous...I definitely agree with your comments!! She is a stay at home mom and Jon is gone all the time. Let alone when he is home he doesn't do much to help out with the kids. Yea maybe he puts their shoes on once in a while, but he's a typical guy that doesn't do sh**!!!

perhaps they have an agreement and are only together for the kids and the income and benefits such as tummy tucks and hair restoration, that plastic surgeons offer to promote their offices on TLC, which no doubt, supplements income.

Sorry I knew the Duggars were natural conceptions. However. It is morally wrong in this day and age to have 17 children! Ohhh, how DIFFICULT it must be to live in a 1.4 million dollar mansion when you have two unemployed parents and eight kids. The salon highlight visits must be SO stressful! How does Kate do it?!

It's okay if she's a bitch, because anyone in a mansion with a salon 'do, free tummy tuck, and designer clothing would be soooo stressed too. Don't judge! Her life must be very very hard! You have to sit in a chair for like two hours to get highlights like that, and a trim every three weeks to maintain such a short haircut! How tiring and stressful.

She doesn't have a flabby stomach because she got a FREE tummy tuck when the kids were about 3 yrs. old. It's documented on one of their earlier episodes. The wife of a plastic surgeon who watches the show asked her husband to operate on Kate pro bono and she accepted. The episode is all about her initial doc visit and prepping meals in advance of her surgery. All you have to do these days is birth waaaaaay too many fucking kids and the world is your oyster. Just ask OctoMom!

Also, according to some bloggers, Jon has been staying with his Mom in Huntingdon PA since Feb. 2nd. And also telling people around the area that they are separating.

Jon was only in his 20's when they had all 8 children. So he was very young to have all 8 children (Kate is older than him by several years I believe). Marrying in your 20's, having twins and THEN 8 more kids, is a recipe for disaster. If you add in Kate being a harpy, I'm not surprised at all. Not condoning it but not surprised. Also, for those of you who talk about "editing" - she says what she says, they're not putting words in her mouth. And regardless of the situation, sometimes the way she talks to him is totally inexcusable (just like any infidelity on his part is).

Cheating is wrong, period. However, if Kate yells, "hellll-ooooo" at Jon one more time, I will personally grant him a divorce. Kate, to me, is absolutely UNBEARABLE. I feel for her kids, edited or not, she's one cold bitch.

first let me start off by saying im a HUGE fan of the show. the kiddies are adorable & personally, im in awe of kate. she has that family running like a tight ship & the kids seem very happy & well behaved. it has to be the hardest thing of all. to me, kate is the polar opposite of "octo-mommy". they clearly went into the second pregnancy not realizing that tere would be 6. the fact that she chose to have them all is because OBVIOUSLY she can handle it. if you think she's a shrew or a bitch or controlling, it may have alot to do with the fact that shes a stay @ home mom to EIGHT KIDS!!!! yes it was her decision but it was also his. while he is at work she is home. 24-7 mommy duty... there is NO excuse for him to behave like that... adultery is NOT excusable, regardless of how many kids they have. he obviously likes her controlling ways because he married her. a relationship always has one that wears the pants & in this case its her. not all that uncommon.

I can't believe how many posters have encouraged & condoned adultery! I can only assume that those people are ignorant to the destruction that kind of behaviour causes families. You are also obviously not mothers, or you would understand what goes into raising children & how organized you have to be to do it well. Shocking how many women are so quick to tear down another woman. Actually I take that back...not shocking at all nowadays. To suggest that people cheat for any reason other than to satisfy their own selfish needs (over those of the family that they committ too) is truly stupid. Suggesting that people deserve to be cheated on? Many saints would crack under the pressure Kate puts Jon through. Kate does seem to have some small sense of self doubt that might help her to see this vaguely sometimes, but most of the time she is oblivious to it.

Only a 'Kate' could truly show Kate what it feels like to face that continual grind... and I'm sure SHE would crack first! Life has ebbs and flows, and she needs to allow Jon to breathe, otherwise she sets herself up for failure if this infidelity report is true [the pendulum swinging too wildly in that direction].

I know someone who works on the show and they say his wife is actually very nice and it's just edited and made for her to look like a bitch because it gets ratings.

@Rock - for the record, the Duggers (on 17 and couting - the show I believe you're referencing) don't use any fertilization or hormone treatments.

Thank you for using your intelligence to shed light into this situation. Raising a big family is not easy (my husband and I have 5 children) but you do have to be very scheduled and disciplined. It is very likely TLC edits the show for entertainment purposes. (why else would you watch?) But to the rest of you, really? Encouraging cheating?? Have you even been cheated on yourself? Do you know the pain, the misery, the disappointment? (yes I have an ex-husband who cheated and thank you eHarmony for bringing me a husband who is the love of my life) SO WHAT if Kate is the way she is? She has a TV show and you don't. Get over it! She makes me feel less crazy by watching her antics with Jon and their kids. She makes me feel as "normal" as a Mom can be. Let me ask you "Kate Haters" this, could you manage a large family?
