Hayden Panettiere is officially single. Us Weekly announced that she split up with her boyfriend Milo Venitmiglia . . . which isn't surprising considering she swapped spit with Jesse McCartney at a club two weeks ago. A source close to the couple told Us:

"It was a lifestyle conflict. They were in very different places. They are still on friendly terms. There are no hard feelings. [Hayden] is young. She likes to go out in the Hollywood scene and that's not his style. [Milo] has been concentrating on work on his production company [Divide Pictures]." (Source)

Of course there was a lifestyle conflict. Milo is in his thirties. Hayden is in her teens. Have you ever tried holding a conversation with a teenager? The key is to be nonthreatening at first. "Hey baby, no need to call campus security, this trench coat's nothing to worry about."
