Chris Brown finally released a statement about the run-in his fists had with Rihanna's face last weekend:
"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writing under my name are frauds."In terms of crisis management, waiting a week to issue a statement after you were arrested for beating up you girlfriend is pretty much the worst thing you can do. You give people a chance to speculate too much, both about the situation and you. The worse the situation, the worse the speculation about you. For example, I was gonna post a story this morning about a rumor that Chris once fucked Hitler. It's true. Possibly.
The only thing this proves is that Rihana isnt a very good listener.
