Well my wife could certainly use a new pair of jeans after I washed clothes! After doing some laundry I went to put my clothes in the dryer. And wouldn't you know it; my wife still had her NEW jeans still in there from days before. I really hate that! Now the nice thing to do would have been to fold her jeans and put them away for her...I didn't do that. Nope, if she wasn't going to fold her clothes why should I? I'll teach her a lesson. Instead I took them out and placed them on the floor (in a laundry basket). In hind sight I really really wished I would have done the nice thing. Because I guess I left the bleach bottle on top of the dryer when I was washing my clothes and must not have exactly closed the bottle up tightly...or at all. As my close dried, the bottle of bleach (like a magnet) must have worked it's way to the front of the dryer and fell to the basket of jeans on the floor emptying the entire bottle of bleach onto all her jeans. Now these jeans didn't just get a splash of bleach and come out looking like jeans from the early 90's. These jeans were soaked and lying in as much bleach as that laundry basket could hold. So much in fact, that the bleach dissolved/ate through the jeans and made HUGE holes all over. They barely looked like jeans by the time she found them. Not realizing at first that this was my entire fault and seeing how upset she was, I thought I'd crack a joke to lighten the mood. After all they were just a pair of jeans. I told her, "Well at least you got to wear them once." She didn't find it funny then, and still really doesn't find it funny now. Now I’m sure she didn't "love" those jeans like she said she did, but I do love my and would love to win her a new pair of jeans.
