This is bull! How was Gran Torino not nominated for anything?! Best movie I've seen in the past year.

Yeah, um, did you actually SEE Gran Torino? Wasn't that great of a movie. Very predictable plot, stale characters, and an unbalanced script really screwed what could have been a good movie. I'm glad the Academy noticed at least

Ok, did YOU actually see Gran Torino. Two words: CLINT EASTWOOD. He should've gotten a nomination.

Gran Torino's release date was 1/9/09. I think to be eligible for an Oscar, the films must open in the previous calendar year, from midnight at the start of January 1 to midnight at the end of December 31.
