Hayden and her dad Alan (who apparently uses his shirt as a napkin) leaving Buca di Peppo restaurant in L.A. (9/25)

Remember when Hayden Panettiere's dad was arrested for beating up his wife and Hayden blamed the incident on a "sheriff who wanted his fifteen minutes of fame"? Oh hey, guess what? Turns out it wasn't actually the sheriff's fault. Alan plead no contest to misdemeanor battery yesterday. Which still doesn't mean he did it. People plead guilty to hitting their wife all the time. Right Hayden? Right? From TMZ:

Hayden Panettiere's dad, Alan, has pled no contest to misdemeanor battery. Alan faced a judge in a Bev Hills courtroom on Tuesday, stemming from an altercation he had with his wife back in August. He received 24 months probation, $400 in fines and must attend 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling. A protective order against him remains in place. (Source)
In Alan's defense, 6 PM means 6 PM. I don't care if the oven is broken or not, if dinner's not on the table there's gonna be consequences
