Paris Hilton leaving Bar Deluxe last night

The LAPD is investigating a robbery at Paris Hilton's home earlier this morning. Police sources told the Los Angeles Times that a man in a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced his way into Paris' home at 5 A.M. and made off with an estimated $2 million worth of jewelry and other belongings (!). Paris was not home at the time of the robbery. From the Los Angeles Times:

Detectives from the LAPD's Van Nuys division were at the home this morning conducting interviews. The sources told The Times that Hilton was not home at the time of the burglary and that the house is equipped with security video equipment. It remains unclear whether this case is connected to last year's series of serial burglaries that targeted celebrities in the Westside. (Source)

According to LAPD sources, the break-in marks the first time a man has been in Paris Hilton's house and not come. *rim shot*
