Tom Brady and Gisele probably not engaged

TMZ is reporting that Tom Brady popped the question to his girlfriend Gisele aboard a private jet on Christmas Eve. The jet was filled with champagne and four dozen roses as well as the supermodel's parents. The engagement news follows last week's rumor that the couple was planning a small wedding in Costa Rica next year. The only [minor] problem with TMZ's story is it's not true. Oops. Brady's dad Tom Sr. told the Boston Globe on Saturday:

"We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say. It's rumor, rumor, rumor. It must be a slow news day." (Source)

I knew something was fishy about this story. Gisele could do so much better than Tom. Like me. I happen to have a lot of things that Tom doesn't. Crushing debt, for example.
