Jessica Alba on the set of An Invisible Sign of my Own in New York (11/14)
Jessica Alba totally snubbed an 8-year-old kid on the set of her new film An Invisible Sign of My Own. From Latina.com:
According to a fan, the Latina bombshell was quite rude when he approached her to ask for a photograph for his young nephew."I happened to see her right near my house, so I took my 8 year old nephew to see her (he is a big fan of Fantastic 4). I brought my camera with me and went over to her and asked if he could have a picture with her. She looked at me, looked down at my nephew and turned away from us. She then said, 'No, I do not allow my photo taken.' Needless to say my nephew was heartbroken." (Source)
There's a reason Jessica doesn't like her photo taken: it means she might have to smile. Five years from now when that kid learns the wondrous joys of hand lotion, scented candles, and self-asphyxiation, I hope Jessica doesn't expect to be his object of affection. Because after this traumatic experience, he's more likely to fantasize about Clay Aiken, Lance Bass, or microwaving kittens.

Celebs that act like that drive me crazy.
I can understand being a douche to adults, bc im sure they get pressured for pictures and followed 24/7. But when a lil kid comes up wanting a picture or an autograph, do it!
Poor kid.
What a fuggin BIOTCH.
Would never watch another movie with her in it.
Too big for her own good.
She has been like that for a long time don't know why so many people still like her she is a huge bitch and very ugly inside and outside
maybe i'll drag my rat kid to any one of your houses and see how happy you are to see us. cut her some slack you vultures.
People, Hollywood style celebrities are generally born human. Except...well, never mind. They are just people. Not Idiots, Geniuses or any extreme. Tthey are essentially normal people who are A. born into wealth and privilege, or B. Amazingly work their way up to Hollywood. The latter is quite rare, but we see the former all to much. People who are born into celebrity and money generally develop to be incredibly self possessed and ultimately insecure people. Ms. Alba was probably just in a bitchy, self possessed mood. I did somewhere happen to read an interview with her, and her views on men were that they are easily manipulated by attractive women. Generally this is probably true, but the fact that she would just outright say that, reflect her own very limited world experience. Although great actors generally are somewhat self possessed, because this hyper confident mindset allows them to assume, and command any role.
Wow.. I don't know which is worse... Alba acting that way(if indeed the story is true) or people ragging on celebs in general when they don't want to cater to every stranger and yes even strangers kids that walk up to them out of nowhere... yes they are in the public eye and they did put themselves there but ask yourself how would you react after having perfect strangers nagging you everytime you showed your face in public... Maybe she has a terrible personality or just maybe she was having a bad day... Deal with it none of it is any of your concern.. Enjoy the acting or don't but stop your crying..
look. i already know that jessica is crazy. and i'm all right with it.
i would have to say that just going up to someone and not asking wouldn't be in your
best interest. ask a movie assistant for help or ask if she ok to take a picture.
and above all remember thats she human too as
one day she was acting with john shea and her daughter honor marie was sick and she
wasn't herself. so think about what happened
and try again .
