Britney Spears going on a world tour?
Britney Spears wants to go on a world tour to promote her new album Circus (due in December). Gee, what could possibly go wrong? From Reuters:
In an interview broadcast on Monday by New York radio station Z100, Spears was asked if she planned to tour. "Oh definitely, next year," she said, adding the tour would probably take her "around the world." That would mark her first major concert tour since 2004. (Source)
I think it's safe to assume that these days, only foreigners would actually pay money to go see Britney Spears in concert. Here in the United States, we've become far too sophisticated. Because if Americans wanted to watch an absentee mother with no redeeming qualities perform live in front of millions, we'd tune in to this week's Vice Presidential debate.

The reason I go to these celebrity gossip sites is to get away from the constant, 24/7 political nonsense flooding TV and blogs for at least a few minutes. But you just can't help yourselves, can you. For a little while each day, I would love to just look at Salma Hayek's boobs and ignore political potshots. Please!
