Shia LaBeouf NOT charged with DUI
A new low has been reached in the world of celebrity justice. Shia LaBeouf will not be facing drunk driving charges for the rollover accident he got into in late July . . . when he was drunk. Apparently there's insufficient evidence to charge him. From the Los Angeles Times:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore noted that because LaBeouf refused a blood-alcohol test, the Department of Motor Vehicles would automatically suspend his license for six to nine months. LaBeouf's hearing was scheduled for Friday. (Source)
According to L.A. mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, a parade will be thrown for LaBeouf this Sunday in Beverly Hills. Arrive early for the best seats.
