Real World Road Rules Challenge destroys Panama

MTV destroys Panama

The newest season of Real World/Road Rules Challenge, taking place on Boca del Drago Island in Panama, premiered last week. Being the responsible TV network they are, MTV's hyping it up as the first "green" season in the show's history. The contestants' beachside huts include sustainable furniture, a salt-water pool, recycled water from the AC units, solar panels, gardens, and dual-flush toilets. Filming has already concluded. Guess who fucked up the island? From Michael Drake at the Tree Climber's Coalition:

The place looked like a trash dump and there was an area of devastation inconsistent with the surrounding forest. MTV had packed up and gone and there was nothing left behind that could be compared with what had been there before . . . I have seen the aftermath of a tornado and this was almost as bad. The area had been deserted with little attempt at any sort of cleanup of the mess . . . A large plot of rainforest had been cleared, a pristine Caribbean beach had been trashed, and the creators had simply packed up and left. (Source)

I think I speak for everyone here in saying fuck you MTV.

MTV reality show not green

Motherfucking bastards. Isn't there an authority in Panama that can sue them for a billion dollars??? MTV's filthy motherfucking bastards - sons of whores and vagabonds. Fuck MTV.

Make 'em pay, Panama. Hold them accountable. Dirtbags.

This is bullshit...a total outrage not only to the people of Panama but to all Americans. Who the hell does MTV think they are? Their time is over...they not only suck complete ass as a network and they're screwing up the world! Whoever still watches the SHIT they pass off as entertainment is a complete douche just like the people they have on their shows! You were great once but your time has come and is now GONE.
