I'm a democrat, have been my entire life. I've been a voter for 14 years and have never missed an opportunity to cast my vote. But this year it seems the Republicans may have the better ideas and stronger candidates.
As an African American I feel proud of my country especially considering that we finally have a Black candidate that beat out strong opponents for the nomination and it looks like Barack might actually have a shot at the presidency!!
This gives me hope - but at the same time - we have to be practical and realistic. Do the research and lets forget about sex and race and try to be completely unbiased.
