Back when Jamie Lynn was still just a youngin' she sold the exclusive first pics of her baby and first interview to OK! magazine for one million dollars, payable when the baby was born. The mere fact that OK! magazine decided to do a cover on this story disgusts me. Not because teenaged girls who get pregnant disgust me, but because there is absolutely nothing glamorous about it. The majority of teen pregnancies occur in middle-class to working-class families who cannot afford to pay for another child. Most teens have to quit school, get a job as a waitress at minimum wage plus tips, and generally just work their asses off simply to make sure that the kid is still alive at the end of the day. Some girls even get thrown out of their houses and somehow have to carry around a human being inside their stomachs for nine months with no money, no food, and no shelter.
I hope that girl realizes how damn lucky she is. She's even getting paid for pictures of the baby, for god's sake. It makes me sick. But hey, that's what happens when you're a celebrity. People cleaning up your messes before you have chance to make one.

Why the hatred of life on here? With all the death, killing and war in this world, I find mommy and baby to be beautiful. I really don't care about the rest. Ok, first of all teen pregnancy came out of the old ages years ago...i was a teen mom over 20 years ago and i never got the nasty comments that you narrow minded people are giving Jamie Lynn. Grow up and realize that having a baby is not the end of the world, on the contrary it is the beginning of a great chapter in their lives!!! My son is 20 and he will be a dad in October with his girlfriend and I couldn't be happier. It seems that all of you have horrible comments and it makes me wonder who you are more disgusted with....Jamie Lynn for living her life the way she wants or you for not having the guts to live to be happy. Grow up, having a baby is not the end it is just the beginning and close minded people like all of you making comments against her.....you go Jamie & Casey enjoy that baby cuz they grow up so fast and you will be wanting another gorgeous babe to build the family!!! It's going to take a lot more than retarded entertainment shows and ridiculous celeb magazines to glorify teen pregnancy to a happy and acceptable level. The only thing worse than being knocked up like an alley cat is being a puffy house frau telling everyone what a great move that was.
This kid is dumber than a rock. She had the best anti-role model ever - her big sister. I teach high school - these kids just don't get it. When they tell me they "accidently" got pregnant I tell them there's 100 different ways to prevent pregnancy and only one way to get pregnant. It's a conscious decision, to close the door in your own face. They come back a year later and look 25 years older. They've got restraining orders against the babies' daddies.and they are floundering messes.

Ya'll really i'm on sheila's stop being negative and rude. I'm sure she will be a great mother after all shes had to have learned somethings not to do from her sister. Shes made the right choice to stay out of hollywood and keep things nice and calm at home. Beautiful little girl cute name everything about Jaime lynn and Maddie screams normal life. Shes not a whore she knows who the father of her child is there was never any doubt shes not sleeping around so shes not a whore shes a mother.
