Just a day after her father revealed that she has emphysema (or the early stages of the disease according to some reports), Amy Winehouse was photographed smoking a cigarette after leaving a London rehab center. David H. Nielson, a thoracic surgeon in San Antonio, told Us Weekly:
"She's only 24 yet she has the lungs of an 80-year-old. She's going to get fatigued [on stage] and have to rest with supplemental oxygen. It will dramatically effect her career. To have this type of emphysema already will likely shorten her life to about 50 years of age." (Source)

emphysema will kill her before 50. its worse than cancer. at least you can have cancer cut out or chemo'd. that gives you a chance. with emphysema if you get a cold it can kill you. emphysema is why she's so skinny.
