Drunk driver hits Diddy's Maybach
A drunk driver smashed into Diddy's Maybach on Friday night outside Manhattan's 1Oak nightclub. A new Maybach runs $426,000 -- a bit more if you go for the nuclear engine instead of the V-12 -- so, ya' know, I hope the dude has insurance. According to TMZ, the guy that hit Diddy's ride, Charles Lorenzo, was so drunk that he passed out face down on the street. I did the same thing at lunch last weekend after seeing the Sex and the City movie. I know you guys think I'm this tough dude and all because I've undefeated in cage matches, but I just can't handle cosmos.
NOTE (1/25): Diddy bought his son Justin Dior Combs a silver Maybach for his 16th birthday on Saturday. The Maybach is valued at $360,000.

Totally.....that is Rolls Royce Phantom. A much more desirable car than a Maybach, despite the cost.

Diddy's is the Maybach. I see one of these regularly, and they are pretty damn sweet, they have curtains across the back for when you're being chauffeured. Anyway, I'd have to say that Diddy is pretty damn lucky that a Rolls hit him, he's probably one of the few people that can afford to fix his car.

How would you know whether this is a big mistake or not! We have no way of knowing if Diddy is grooming his son to be a mini mogul or not! This is new money, not old, and if he wants to give his son something he never would have had at his age, then who are we to judge? Who's to say that his son is not a scholar? I don't necessarily condone lavish gifts, but then again, I haven't been in a position to buy my child anything she asks for. You better believe, though, that if my daughter proved she was responsible, had a stellar academic performance and was aware that I will restrict her access to the gift when necessary...I would give her whatever she wanted. Keep the hate to a minimum!

I do agree that children should have to work and earn things that they want but no one says anything when Paris, Kim and all the other heir/heiresses get handed things... and this was before they got the reality shows which allowed them to finally EARN money.
I cannot imagine why Diddy would buy a 16 year old a Maybach. You should take good care of him as you do, but also allow him to get a great education and when he gets older then by all means a Maybach is a good car. He is much too young.

You can't tell a person how to spend their money, however, it would be a Historical Event if all the black entertainers,those who are making money, whether it be musical, actors, entrepreneurs or just plain wealthy African Americans would put their money together and transfer all of their businesses that are profitable, build manufacturing buildings where haitians would work.Employ the Haitians'to build project type housing for the Haitian people, and Grand Hotels which would provide assets from rental income and Vacation Travelers. In turn, the wealth would come back to the givers.
why should all the blacks help haiti people, what about the all the black people that need help in america like new orleans. i know its a tradegy what happen to haiti, but people did not put this much effort when it was new orleans(katrina)
Sounds like a viable option for many of the wealthy, not just African Americans! Why are African Americans expected to spend their new money any differently than other races with old money. Do those other races not buy whatever they want with little regard to the welfare of the rest of the world?

Remember what happended to Michael Jordan's dad when he drove a Lexus? It attracted bad people to come and kill him. That's why I think it's not a good idea to buy such an extraveggant car for your child/family. It will only put them one step closer to getting hurt. Totally not worth it, besides you know he's gonna wreck it too....most young new drivers do. Buy him a truck he can learn to drive in...that way he might be a little safer if/or when he wrecks it. And people learn to love or at least forgive those who have no conscience. Vengeance is God's.
