Mr. T is a miracle worker

He just got off work

All aboard the wayback machine for a trip to 1985! . . . so ya' know Mr. T, star of NBC's hit show The A-Team? Turns out he does more than just kick total ass. His mere presence in a Detroit hospital brought a young boy out a coma. T. told Empire magazine:

"His family put toys around him and one of them was a Mr. T doll. And whenever my name came up, the boy moved his arm. Somebody told the doctors I was in town, so they called me down there. I closed the curtains and prayed. Then, as I was walking down the hall, the kid suddenly came out of the coma and hollered out. That was my supernatural moment [back in the mid-80s]." (Source)

After reading this miraculous tale of faith and healing, I wonder if my local church is tempted to swap out their Jesus statues with life-size replicas of Mr. T? If you think about it, I suppose praying to Mr. T makes about as much sense as praying to Jesus since they both pity fools.* In lieu of money, if we start worshiping Mr. T, can we drop gold chains and food stamps into the collection plate?

I believe this story to be absolutely true. Mr. T is 100% Grade A badass with a heart of gold. I do indeed "pity the fool."
