Britney Spears' appearance on How I Met Your Mother
Britney Spears' guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother went so well -- the show saw its highest ratings ever with 10 million+ viewers -- that network execs are rumored to be planning a spin-off sitcom. A source told the National Enquirer:
"Britney did a great job playing the cute, funny receptionist, and really enjoyed herself. Doing a TV show will help Britney keep focused, plus keep her in Los Angeles, where she can see her kids regularly and create a positive work routine."
I really don't see how this can fail -- especially considering how great Britney is with production schedules. Anticipate the fall 2008 season premiere of this show to be ready sometime in the summer of 2010. And yes, I've already factored in 95% of Britney's scenes being computer generated after she refuses to come out of her trailer during the second day of shooting. "Why this is the nicest trailer Brit Brit done ever lived in!"
Oh yeah, that will really work out. Why do people continue to cater to this piece of trash? The money? Gotta be.
I guess TV execs really are that out of touch of the viewing public.

I watched it. She was pretty funny. She couldn't do her own show, but a recurring character on this one would be cool.
I heard she was going to open her own dance studio! I think that would be great. She can dance. At least she is getting mental help and working and at least she doesn't have to sleep with people to get work like Blohan does. Best wishes to Britney!!!
