Jessica Simpson's new movie Blonde Ambition is killin' it in Ukraine, grossing $253k+ last weekend -- 142 times what it earned on it's opening (and last) weekend in the United States. Conor Bresnan, editor in chief of Box Office Mojo International, told People magazine:
"When these comedies have big name celebrities like Jessica Simpson's, that's all that's needed to sell the movie. Russian and Ukrainian audiences have an even bigger urge for escapism than Americans. So, films like Blonde Ambition will gross more than No Country for Old Men." (Source)
Sure she's a box office success in Ukraine, but can she find it on a map? That's a rhetorical question. Of course she can't. She probably thinks it's a type of bird. "I love ukraines!"

I live in Ukraine and I dont know how its possible. Some time backwards people left off to walk in movie theaters because all films are duplicated in Ukrainian language instead of on Russian. I just dont get it how this movie earned more than 100 dollars.
