Depending on who you believe, Britney Spears' ex-manager Sam Lutfi is being investigated by the LAPD for allegedly drugging her. TMZ says:

Sources say investigators have interviewed several witnesses regarding the drugs in Brit's system at the time she was most recently committed. We're told the investigation had been temporarily derailed because of the death of an LAPD SWAT officer, but it's now back on track. One source says the investigation will probably be concluded in late March. (Source)

Reports that Sam Lutfi is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for allegedly drugging Britney Spears appear to be false. We spoke with LAPD Media Relations representative Richard French, who told us "there is no investigation into Sam allegedly medicating Britney." Follow-up calls to the LAPD Media Relations department were answered by Officer Lee, who said, "Who would you believe? The LAPD or Internet reports?" (Source)
