Katharine McPhee marries Nick Cokas
Katharine McPhee, 23, married her producer boyfriend Nick Cokas, 42, in Beverly Hills on Saturday. The two met in 2005 right before McPhee shot to stardom on American Idol. After the wedding, McPhee told People magazine:
"(Nick) is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect." (Source)
Considering how much older he is than his wife, you may recognize Nick Cokas from a TV program that airs all the time in the U.S. It's a reality show about these old, creepy, perverted guys that are always trying to seduce really young, naive, and unsuspecting girls. There are lots of cameras around and in the end, the old guys never hook up with the chicks. Give up? No, it's not To Catch a Predator . . . it's The Girls Next Door!

Hate to judge, but the age difference is just CREEPY. Two years ago (when she was on AI) her (now) husband was almost twice her age....and he is still almost 20 years older. Other than sex, what could they possibly have in common?!?
It's more than a little weird how people think that love and marriage is only normal and correct when the two people are of ages in close proximity to one another.
It used to be that people only cared if the love was genuine and/or if the husband can care for his wife in the ways that mattered. Now people judge based on comparative age scales.
Let me tell you how real men see women. "Is she hot? Is she attached? Is she legal?"
There. We don't care about age. We care about legalities and moralities and maturities. Because we're men.
