Jessica Simpson is going to war
Jessica Simpson announced on her blog yesterday that she's going to war. The singer is teaming up with Operation MySpace to sing for the troops in Kuwait. Jessica wrote:

I just wanted to say hi, and let you know that I am hard at work on my country record, and I can't wait to share it with all of you.I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops for Operation MySpace, then back in the studio. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute . . . Jessica Simpson? Entertaining the troops? The guys that are trying to put 30 mm rounds through the heads of terrorists? We're sending the chick that was in Blonde Ambition? The only group we should be sending over there starts with 'M' and end with 'etallica'. Who's next, Martha Stewart? Turn those C-rations from forgettable to fabulous!

Aren't our troops having to endure enough pain and suffering? Rather than listening to her music, they'd probably prefer waterboarding torture.
