I don't know why everyone is so shocked and surprised. They are from WestHucklebuck Louisiana and they act accordinly. When she should have been talking to her daughters about protection, she was watching soap operas for "guidance." SNS is probably right, Jaime is probably really Britney's. UH?! That's stupid. The girl has a steady income, probably more than what most grown women make. She can definitely afford to take care of a kid. I mean isn't that the problem for us regular folk. Our teens can't afford to take care of a kid and still go to school. It's fine that she has a mom willing to watch her when Jamie wants to go party or go to work, but to totally raise her, that's pointless. J should raise her own kid. She'll still be able to work and get tutoring.

Everybody has something to say about Jamie Lynn getting pregnant, but the same people talking all this mess did not have perfect lives. Being a teenage mother is hard and if her mom wants to help her instead of treating her like all you, then leave it be, you not taking care of the child. Perhaps I am an old prude (Iam 28 yrs old) and some will say who am I to judge. My comment is not exactly judgemental. I was 21 the 1st time I made love and that was to my husband on our honeymoon, there is a 7 yr age difference but he respected my choice/decision. I think this is a terrible choice to make.. kind of selfish in a way .. she can always go back to her career in a few years when the baby is older. Why should her mom have to raise another kid? I got pregnant at 17 had my son in my senior year .. still graduated and im workin and going to college Im just about to turn 19 have my own place and i did it with SOME help from my mom ( deff. not financially ) it wuz a struggle but i want my son to be proud of me you know i knew it wuz my mistake and it wuz time to GROW UP .. she should think the same
