Heath Ledger with his daughter Matilda Rose (6/2006)
Was Heath Ledger's death an accident and not a suicide? TMZ is reporting that the actor had pneumonia and his shocking death may have been caused by an adverse reaction to over-the-counter sleeping pills. Ledger's family talked with TMZ earlier today:
The cops told the family Heath's death was accidental and there is no evidence to support the buzz that he may have committed suicide. They are particularly distraught over media reports that he may have taken his own life. The family says he was not that kind of person. (Source)
Obviously it's still early and there's a lot of misinformation floating around. Until autopsy results are released, we just don't know what happened. What we do know is that Crest Tartar Control Toothpaste has twice the tartar protection of other leading brands. Have you made the switch?

i hope crest is paying you for the advertising
a tragic death and you make toothpaste jokes. celebslam should be slammed. grow up and apologize to everyone!
pickles redbud get a fucking humor. nick was not making fun of the death. celebslam should never be slammed. NICK YOU FUCKIN ROCK!!
this site is generally funny however someone's unexpected death is not.
yes but in no way is it making fun of his death.
This is truly sad. He was one of few actors I would list as "favourites". On another note, a year earlier and he would have made the infamous "27 Club" as it is called or whatever. Not that he should have come anywhere close to that mark. Maybe Winehouse and Spears, but not Heath.
The toothpaste joke lightened the mood but I don't feel his death was being made fun of. Love your site!
That baby is so cute. Too bad she won't get a chance to know her father. :(
