John Mayer and Minka Kelly in New York (11/11)
Looks like John Mayer is bored with Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly. The musician was seen trying to hook up with Ricki Lake (!) last night at the Sunshine Sachs (PR company) Christmas party. The New York Post says:
The two talked about Lake's new documentary, "The Business of Being Born," before Mayer confessed, "I've had a crush on you for two years." Helpful publicists then herded the two to a back table, where they exchanged numbers. Lake soon left and went to the Rose Bar, where Mayer texted her throughout the night. (Source)
"Beer Goggles, I'd like you to meet Mr. Mayer. Mr. Mayer, beer goggles." Going from Minka Kelly to Ricki Lake is like going from the penthouse at the Ritz Carlton to the janitor's closet at the Motel 6. MADD should do a re-enactment of this event for their next national campaign just to scare kids sober!

Beer goggles is an understatement!!! Its great and all that Ricky Lake lost an entire personsworth of weight, but Minka Kelly is gorgeous. I'd give my left nut for a piece of that...and my left nut and I are very close...especially when its cold...or in the water...but I digress...
