One of the many unanswered questions in this entire Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy saga is why Britney found out the news from the media and not her younger sister (oh if you hadn't heard, Britney found out the news from the media and not her younger sister). According to a "family insider," Britney wasn't told because her little sister is basically afraid of her (Jamie Lynn wouldn't even return Britney's calls that day):
"Jamie Lynn has a very soft personality. She loves Britney, not Britney's temper."Though Britney, 26, and Jamie Lynn, 16, have since spoken about the pregnancy, their conversations have been "clinical" and awkward.
"Their relationship is estranged," says the source. "Jamie Lynn does not recognize Britney as the sister she grew up with, so she has gone to her friends, her boyfriend and her mom when she needs someone." (Source)
Can Britney really blame her sister for not coming to her first? Going to that train wreck for baby advice is like asking Amy Winehouse which toothpaste she recommends or Dog the Bounty Hunter which Civil Rights leader he most admired. You'd be better off consulting a Ouija board. Also, I get a sneaking suspicion that their "clinical" discussions had something to do with the pros and cons of wire coat hangers versus long flights of stairs.

I'm starting to feel bad for Britney and Jamie Lynn. It's not their fault that the Spears gene pool is as shallow as a dime laying on it's side. Let's lay off the big fat pigwhore and the little slut, if only for a little while.
