Hollywood is on Strike

Writer's Guild of America on strike

Figured I should write something about the writer's strike going on right now. Basically it goes like this: Hollywood writers hate their Porsches and want Ferraris. Hollywood producers are being stingy because, let's face it, mansions in The Hamptons don't come cheap. Strike! I'm inclined to side with the writers but only if I get apologies for the following things:

The Facts of Life (1979-1988)

The View (1997-)

Glitter (2001)

Corky Romano (2001)

The Simple Life (2003-2007)

alibu's Most Wanted (2003)

From Justin to Kelly (2003)

White Chicks (2004)

Good Luck Chuck (2007)

I Know Who Killed Me (2007)

Cavemen (2007)

Anything with Ben Affleck

If the writers are on strike, how come their picket signs aren't blank?

For once it would be nice if instead of pussywillowing to a strike, owners/execs would simply clear the house and give other talented people a shot at those jobs. If you agree to work for a certain pay structure, and sign onto the job agreeing to this pay structure....then be happy or go find another job that will make you happy. There's nothing stopping these cry babies from taking their "invaluable" services elsewhere if they are unhappy with their pay.

HO, of course...

Still pissed about knocked up and no I won't let it go.

Wait, you're giving "Girlfriends" a pass?
