The Hogan Family
According to the guy Nick Hogan almost killed's attorney, Linda Hogan's recent divorce announcement may just be a ploy to protect half of the family's assets from a lawsuit. Let's flash back to August 25 when Nick's friend John Graziano had no trouble using silverware. The next day Nick crashed his Supra and now silverware to John is like advanced calculus. The former Marine's family retained an attorney and they are expected to file suit against the Hogans in the forthcoming months (it's believed Nick's Supra is registered to one of his parents). The Saint Petersburg Times says:
The pending divorce between Terry and Linda Bollea could serve as a strategic move in a civil suit over the wreck that critically injured a young man riding with their son. That's the opinion of Kimberley Kohn, a Tampa attorney who represents Ed Graziano, the father of injured passenger John Graziano. Kohn said Monday a divorce could be one step the Bolleas could take to try to protect assets. That's because it could cut Terry Bollea's assets in half, she said. (Source)
There's a special place in hell for people that do shit like this. Of course I'm talking about Linda. The Hulk's had his spot reserved ever since he beat my idol Sgt. Slaughter in WrestleMania VII. How did the ref not see that chair smuggled into the ring? I've seen the video from four different angles, read witness testimonials, plotted charts, and studied graphs--both pie and bar, and still something just doesn't seem right. I hate to go down this road but I think the fix was in.

I would imagine they have PLENTY of car insurance and excess coverage. They're not gonna give this kid $20 million, the insurance co. will fight him tooth and nail and the hulk won't have to pay for the defense.

Randy is not a lawyer but he speaks the truth: it doesn't help at all for them to divorce. Their assets are the same, just held by 2 different people instead of in one household. Since their minor caused the accident, he's primarily responsible. Under FL law, the parents are basically responsible for willful property damage, as well as minor criminal restitution. The car crash is much more a PR nightmare than a financial problem for the parents.

Nick should have a choice, either try to get through Marine Corps training and serve his country, or go to jail. If he survived Basic Training, he might have a chance of becoming a decent human being.
