Heat magazine makes fun of the disabled
Heat magazine (UK) is inserting a Harvey Price (the son of model Katie Price aka Jordan) sticker in this week's issue. Normally this wouldn't be news except for the fact that the sticker pokes fun of Harvey's weight (Harvey has a genetic disorder called septo-optic dysplasia which causes weight gain, blindness, and mental retardation). Damn, I'm a dick and even I wouldn't make fun of a retarded kid. I draw the line at the elderly. Bunch of freeloaders. Quit spending my tax money!

The lesson here is not to have kids with blacks. She should be thankful she didn't get AIDS.
Actually, there are two lessons.......Firstly, racially attributing unfortunate circumstances (blindness, handicap, disease) as exclusive to a single race reinforces the misconception that some of humanity should be considered as superior to others, which is totally bogus. It is how one conducts him/herself throughout life that dictates upward mobility, and I really mean that in the sense of making it to Heaven. Secondly, even if she were a porn star, it would be unfortunate and trying to deal with a blind and/or disabled child. Lifestyle does allow people to pass judgement and attribute some actions as cause for subsequent ordeals, though we should be careful doing so. For whatever reason the relationship didn't work out with the Liberian guy, Ms. Price found herself in an ongoing intimate relationship with a 17 year old while four months pregnant with Harvey, though I don't attribute that to her son's blindness either. Even so, any parent male/female should own up to his/her responsibility. Ms. Price's resilience and dedication to her son will earn her many blessings. Those ridiculing a person about things beyond their control will come back to bite them.
