Silverman may suck royaly as a comedian, but at least she's aware of that, and she sticks to picking on easy targets as all lame comedians do. And oh boy, Shitney IS like the mother of all easy targets.
There were three train wrecks this night.
#1 Britney: Kindergartners learning the Hokie Pokie for the first time seem to fare better with their steps than Brit, who could hardly be roused to fake the singing. And for the love of Pete - if you've had two kids, don't slather your body in fake suntan lotion and wear a blightie two piece which renders each limb as an orange Julius colored, cabbage patch kid lookalike.
#2 Sarah... How do you ensure maximum disaster? Add insult to injury... Let's throw some highly distasteful blather about two kids who have no control over their destiny at this point - and follow it up with the horror of horrors.... a mental image of Spears' hairless twat. Abusing an audience with vomit evolking gore like that may belong in horror flicks, but not award ceremonies.
#3 The MTV Execs who signed off on this scripted Night o' Fright...and approved the unfolding of this tragedy - regardless of it's yawn inspiring/ imagination searing yuck of a cess pool, the show was destined to become. Who is the real villian in this? The doped up has been? The twat inpsired comedian? How about the puppetmaster who set these square cogs in motion before the entire country? There's gotta be a pink slip in there some place. Let's just call it "Tales from the sCript" and leave it at that.
