Of course the big mystery following Paris Hilton's surprise release from jail this morning is why exactly she was let go after just three days. While there's multiples theories floating around the blogosphere, the consensus seems to be that Paris was released into home custody because she was on the verge of suffering a mental breakdown. This from Splash News:
I was just listening to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM here in LA (for work, I swear) and a woman, claiming to be an inmate at the Lynwood Correctional facility where Paris Hilton was just released from early this morning, alleges Paris was released due to schizophrenia and the amount of medication she was taking. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Paris Hilton's medical condition was purely psychological and that she was in peril of having a nervous breakdown, and that's why she was released early this morning. The reason for releasing her had nothing to do with a rash or other physical issues. It was purely in her head. (Source)

Paris was apparently suffering from severe panic attacks and depression, where she even became suicidal. Towards the end of her stay, Paris began, what others call, a nervous breakdown. Her psychiatrist was so concerned for her well being they did everything possible to get her to a place in which was comfortable for her and her health. (Source)
Of course all of these theories confirm what we've suspected all along about Paris--that she's severely messed up in the head. You don't let the entire offensive line of the 2006 Oakland Raiders run a train on you unless you have some serious mental problems. For Christ's sake, they allowed 72 sacks. The Raiders top running back rushed for only 659 yards ... for the entire season. Those dudes shouldn't even be showing their faces in public. Disgusting, just disgusting.
If she's mental then send her to the state facility. Any other inmate would not have been released. IT'S UNJUST!

The test results came back from her cavity search, and the number of STDs had something to do with her release.
Her official diagnosis: Anal Glaucoma. She just couldn't see her ass doing the amount of time she deserves.
How can the judge's initial orders be countermanded? He originally ruled that the sentence could not be reduced to house arrest.
This is such an incredibly poor example of our country's "Justice" system. But why should we be surprised in a country where George Bush (another pampered rich kid) stole an election and illegally started a war?

When normal inmates complain of being suicidal or on the verge of a nervous break down, they get ignored or put in solitary, not sent home....takes the piss
Is there no justice in this world. Who doesn't freak out when they go to jail (for the first time at least)?
