It was revealed over the weekend that Angelina Jolie's late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, left Angelina and her brother $1.2 million to split in her will (Bertrand passed away in January after a seven-year battle with cancer). According to sources, Angelina's children, Maddox, Zahara and Shiloh, were each left $100,000. They might have received more had Bertrand's ex-husband, actor Jon Voight, remembered to pay alimony:

To be fair to Jon, $180,000 is a lot of money. I mean, why give all that cash to your ex-wife when there's Ferraris that need to be bought and coke-fueled stripper orgies that still need to be experienced? Of course some of us don't need $180,000 to experience those carnal pleasures. We rely on a combination of charm and boyish good looks*

Just saw Jon Voight on "Scarborough" which turned up on my Tivo. He spoke out against the Dems saying bad things about our President and of their attitude toward the Iraq war. Hel-looo! Where have you been? Do you think Bush's 28% rating and Cheny's 9% are all to be blamed on the Democrats?? Do you think the Republicans who are turning against his policies are influenced by the Democrats? Jeez!! I have been such a fan of yours since "Midnight Cowboy" and my husband even took me to see "Coming Home" as a birthday present because I'm such a fan. You have disappointed me to the core. I cannot believe you are really so dumb to have swallowed all that propaganda paid for and manipulated by the Rove-Bush team. You have lost all credibility with me. I'm cured of idolizing you. I made the mistake of thinking you identified with the roles you've played. As far as I'm concerned, the Dems have been far too limp in their criticism of this horrible administration which has turned us into an object of hate throughout the world and which has turned a democracy into a virtual empire where to express an opinion contrary to the cockeyed ones of the neocons, is to be unpatriotic.
Seems to me Jon Voight can say whatever he believes..... he is an American.
One of the reasons I have lost faith in the Dem-Party is they "hate you" if you are not right on their party line! Sad but true.
All you have to do is watch "The View" once or twice [if your stomach can stand it] to realize just how far gone and angry the Dem/Party has become.
Then again, the "Ass" is their Logo!
