Angelina Jolie's ever-expanding family just grew by one. The actress completed the adoption process for three-year-old Pham Quang Sang late yesterday. After Jolie meets with U.S. consular officials, the boy will be issued a passport and become an official American citizen. Mother and child are expected to return to the States as soon as this weekend. Abandoned at a hospital by his mother, the boy has been living at the Tan Binh orphanage since late 2003. He's described by officials are friendly yet a little shy (he'll love Hollywood!). As previously reported, Jolie filed to adopt Pham as a single parent because, under Vietnamese law, unwed couples aren't allowed to adopt. Us Magazine has more:

Local press claim that that the boy is named Pham Quang Sang and will be renamed Pak Thien Jolie (Editors note: I've also heard "Pax"). His birth name means "light" in Vietnamese and Thien means "heaven". Vietnamese press also report that Jolie's new son cried and hid during the official ceremony, and that the actress comforted him. Jolie's other adopted son, Maddox, was also present. (Source)

What the hell? You can't go around treating children like the hookers you always kidnap and renaming them at your whim and dressing them up and playing sexy firefighter. But sometimes the mouthy ones don't want to play sexy firefighter so you have to lock them in the room you built under the garage and maybe spray them with a hose to break their will--uh oh, someone's deserves another spanking for being a naughty girl and getting their shirt all wet.
