Turns out there's no truth whatsoever to the rumors that popped up on Tuesday about Courtney Love replacing Paula Abdul. Reps for both American Idol and Courtney Love are saying the call was probably the result of a mischievous prankster. Although it shouldn't really count as a "real" prank since the victim was pill-popping Courtney Love. I'm 100% positive you could convince her you're an ancient talking dolphin if you put on a wetsuit and started reading a copy of the Magna Carta.
It was probably just a drug-induced fantasy ... the tip off should have been when she said they called on her banana.
