Over the New Year, Britney Spears passed out at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas. The only problem, besides the newfound child abuse lawsuit evidence, was that she was being paid a half million for the appearance:

Shit, Britney and I are on the same page. This reminds me of the end of my first year as an investment banker, tearing up and down Wall Street. I totally passed out during the end of the year meeting where they pass out the $150k bonuses, and even though I blamed it on "my alcohol-fueled bender and hence hangover" the partner wasn't too impressed. If you're as loaded as Brit and I are, sometimes staying awake for four hours just isn't worth the paycheck.

Pure's publicist Kate Turner tells SpyOnVegas they have no problem with Britney Spears' early exit from hosting the Las Vegas club's New Year's Eve bash. "The crowd LOVED Britney and they cheered her on everywhere she went," Turner said. "She had a great time and we were delighted with her appearance at the club and cannot wait to have her back. She is always welcome at Pure and we'd love to have Britney back next year for New Year's Eve."
