While on a recent trip to Cambodia, Angelina Jolie fed her adopted son Maddox a plate of crickets, which are considered a local delicacy (Maddox's native country is Cambodia). Angelina expounds:
“I recently took Mad to Cambodia and it was the first trip there where he really understood it. We took him to a restaurant in the middle of the night and he had his first plate of crickets.” The high-protein bugs are popular in the South East Asian country. They are often served with guts intact. Angelina has previously eaten cockroaches and bee larvae and wants to learn how to cook them at home.
Crickets may be a delicacy in Cambodia but I'm pretty sure Maddox lives in Los Angeles. He's used to steak and lobster not plates of insects. Just because I was born in Siberia doesn't mean I want to take a vacation to go club seals and ride whales or whatever the hell they do up there. Angelina makes it sound all shady, too, taking Maddox to eat crickets "in the middle of the night" like it was damn special ops episode of Fear Factor. Can this woman ever do anything normal? If she didn't have such a smoking body, this would really bother me.
I think its really inconsiderate to take him in the middle of the night! Did she wake him up? or does she allow her kids to stay up as long as they want?
she was never hot. that poor kid will kick her ass when he is old enough to know whats going on. he will say "mom, i can't believe you fed that shit to me because you wanted to blend in with what is considered normal over there." there is a reason they eat bugs over there honey, there is nothing else to eat!!

WHO FUCKING CARES if she gives her kid a plate of crickets which is a traditional food of his ORIGINAL HOME COUNTRY? That's like saying people of Italian ancestry in America can't eat spaghetti because they live in America, not Italy. Maybe instead they should eat a salad of good old American grass and weeds from the backyard. And I believe it was from a restaurant, not picked up off the ground after a lengthy session of chipping it out of a dried up pile of dung??? The only reason you care that she let him eat it is because she's famous.
kids need stability, school and friends their own age. It seems she is using her kids for her own publicity and robbing of an opportunity to have a stable, healthy childhood. Think about how much school Maddox is missing going on all of these trips? Look at his expression in the pictures, and you can see he's lonely for peers his own age to connect with, and bored. Also, think of all the diseases she is putting her children at risk for catching by taking them to these third world country. I think it is incredably selfish of her to take her child out of school, and to put her all three of her children at risk for catching a disease in a their world country for her own publicity. Children's immune system's are weaker than adults, and once again, it seems like a health risk for her children to travel to third world countries. If most children missed as much school as Maddox seems to have missed by traveling so much, they would be removed from their mother's care by the department of social and human services.
