Jessica Simpson is having a tad bit of trouble on the set of her new movie Blonde Ambition--she can’t remember her lines:

“After the seventh take on one shot, the director hid a microphone in her ear so a crew member could feed her lines,” a source told the tab. “Everyone was embarrassed for her, but she laughed it off, saying ‘I’m sorry, everyone. I’m sorry.” Co-star Luke Wilson was sympathetic, reports the source, and “patted [Simpson] on the back and told her it would be okay.”

I love how Jessica’s co-stars are finally realizing how retarded she is. Witness Luke Wilson patting her on the back like a cute little puppy. He might as well have thrown a tennis ball across the set and told her to be “a good girl” and go fetch. If another actor was screwing up their lines, Luke would have had an actual conversation to find out what was bothering them. But with Jessica, short two-word phrases of encouragement are just about the limit.
