Producers for hit TV show 24 turned down Jennifer Aniston's request for a guest spot on the show because they felt the former star of Friends was "too recognizable." According to executive producer Joel Surnow:
"You can't put those people on (the show) because they're too recognizable. They'll take you (viewers) out of the reality." Aniston wasn't the only big name to be turned down for a role in 24 by producers - funnyman Ben Stiller was also deemed too famous for the show, according to TV Guide.
So starring in one massively popular TV show just wasn't enough for this bitch? Now she wants to ruin one of my favorite TV shows with her presence. The only way I'd be cool with letting Jennifer on 24 is if she was given a role that was as demeaning as possible. Maybe she could play a prostitute who gets hit by Kiefer Sutherland's SUV and then when she's flying through the air she gets shot through the temple. As soon as she hits the ground a group of homeless men could take turns desecrating her lifeless corpse. That would be pretty cool and very 24-esque. How exactly that scenario would play into the plot is a little hazy but regardless, I would definitely TIVO that shit. Plus, if Jennifer turned down the role, producers could start a rumor how she's "difficult to work with." It's really a win win situation for those of us that hate Jennifer Aniston.
