Full Bladder, you are an idiot. A chinchilla certainly is an animal and a domesticated one at that. Chinchillas have surpassed being a "fur commodity" in most civilized areas and are a common place animal in most pet stores.
Domesticated Chins are very gentle and quiet animals. They can be trained and show affection to their owners.
