DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, has been getting pretty desperate lately. While dating Nicole Richie, AM saw demand for his spinning service skyrocket. Now that he's no longer linked to a celebrity, he’s had to slash his rates:

Goldstein has been quietly asking friends in Los Angeles to "set him up with someone who has a name," said a friend. "Basically, he knows he can charge a lot more when he is attached to a famous girlfriend. His rates have had to go way down since he split up with Nicole."

How are famous models and actresses not lining up to date this guy? You'd think with his chiseled features and hulking physique he'd have to keep a stick nearby to help fight off the ladies. I keep mine right by the door though it’s primarily for the creditors. They can be pretty persistent.
